Procedure Steps
XERF skin tightening treatments can take anywhere from 45 to 60 minutes depending on the area being treated. Each practitioner may have their own variation of treatment steps, but the basics include:

The area to be treated will be completely cleaned to remove any makeup, oil, or other skincare product residue. The XERF handpiece has a cooling system built directly into it, but if you have especially tender skin, your specialist can apply numbing gel to your skin for your comfort.
Next, a special gel is applied to the targeted area, which helps the XERF handpiece to smoothly glide across the skin during the treatment. You may also have a grounding pad placed on your body to ensure your safety during a radiofrequency treatment.
Your IBI specialist will move the XERF handpiece across the treatment area while the dual radiofrequency energies heat up multiple layers of your skin.
