Is it possible to lift thighs without surgery? If you are wondering this too, then you are not alone. Many people find they have loose crepey skin forming on their thighs. Sometimes, it is just at the inner thigh and other times the loose skin begins to pool at the knees. With the onset of warmer weather, everyone wants to be able to wear shorts or shorter styles without being self-conscious. Never fear, scarless thigh lift is here!
Traditional Thigh Lift vs. Scarless Thigh Lift
Historically, the only solution for loose skin in the thigh area was a surgical thigh lift also called thighplasty. Depending on the severity of the loose crepey skin, different types of thigh lift surgery can be performed.
Surgical Thigh Lift
Crescent thigh lift – The crescent thigh lift is sometimes called a mini thigh lift if done alone. An incision is made along the crease where the leg meets the groin and excess skin and fat is removed (in a crescent-like shape) and the rest is pulled up tight and stitched into place. The scars are normally located in the groin crease and well hidden by underwear or bathing suit bottoms.
Medial thigh lift – Droopy skin is removed from the inner portion of the thigh and down to the knee if needed. The incision made is normally in the shape of a “T” with the top falling in the crease near the groin and the vertical portion straight from the groin area to the knee on the inner thigh.
Lateral thigh lift – The lateral thigh lift concentrates on the outer portion of the thigh and is the most difficult to perform. The fat layer and skin of the outer thigh are very heavy and require the skill of an expert surgeon with extensive experience in this type of thigh lift. Lateral thigh lifts are often combined with a tummy tuck or a butt lift for optimal results. The scars from a lateral thigh lift normally run from the top border of the buttocks and extend through the hips.
Spiral thigh lift – A 360-degree thigh lift, or spiral lift, is normally used for a super obese individual who has lost a significant amount of weight. This surgery will address loose skin located in many areas during the same procedure. Scarring can be quite significant and consist of a T-shaped scar on the upper thigh, and a scar running from under the buttocks around to the hips.
All surgical thigh lifts involve incisions, removing excess skin, fat removal, long recoveries, and scarring. For some individuals, this is still going to be the best and most effective treatment to correct their loose skin. However, for others who have minimal to moderate loose skin issues, there is a less invasive, non-surgical procedure that may be perfect for you – the scarless thigh lift.
Scarless Non-Surgical Thigh Lift
As we age, our skin loses some of its foundation as well as elasticity. The production of collagen and elastin slows down as we get older and we tend to lose volume from certain places. This can cause an excess of skin in the upper thigh area.
Individuals who have lost a moderate amount of weight may also experience loose saggy thighs. If you are looking for a solution to tighten, smooth, and reshape your thighs without surgery, a scarless thigh lift may be just what you are looking for!
What Is a Scarless Thigh Lift?
Scarless surgery is taking the world of cosmetic procedures by storm these days and for good reason! Treatments that offer comparable results to surgery without scalpels and scars, it is like a dream come true!
A non-surgical thigh lift offers patients who have minimal to moderate loose skin and fat the opportunity to achieve firmer, more contoured, younger-looking thighs without surgery. How does a scarless thigh lift work? Keep reading to find out more!
The Secret to the Scarless Thigh Lift
Doctors and patients alike have waited years for the ability to tighten skin without the use of surgery. Now through the incredible powers of radiofrequency and advanced technologies that can effectively harness it, scarless skin tightening is a reality!
Scarless surgery can be performed on the arms, legs, face, neck, back, abdomen, thighs, etc. Surgeons are able to re-contour areas of the body and face without even picking up a scalpel.
How Is a Thigh Lift Without Surgery Performed?
For individuals who only have a mild to moderate amount of loose skin, a scarless thigh lift should be able to provide the results desired. There are a few different cutting-edge procedures available that can correct loose skin and provide excellent results.
1. Scarless Thigh Lift with BodyTite
BodyTite not only tightens loose skin but also liquefies and eliminates unwanted fat. BodyTite uses radiofrequency that works with liposuction to smooth and contour the areas that are treated.
The procedure is minimally invasive and depending upon the extent of the treatment can require about 10 days to recover. Compression garments are also normally required after the procedure to help minimize swelling that occurs after any liposuction procedure.
BodyTite yields immediate results and since it jumpstarts the body’s natural collagen and elastin production, the results will continue to improve for several months.
2. Non-Surgical Thigh Lift with Evolve
Three different procedures make up the Evolve Family of contouring & firming treatments. Evolve Tite, Evolve Tone, and Evolve Trim use different types of state-of-the-art technology to smooth, tone, and redefine the thigh area. They can be combined for optimal results or used independently to target specific areas of concern.
-
- Evolve Tite – targeted radiofrequency is used to re-shape and contour the body by delivering heat energy to the skin and the subdermal layer thus stimulating the manufacture of collagen which tightens and smooths skin gradually.
- Evolve Tone can improve the strength and look of muscles using EMS, or electrical muscle stimulation. It causes involuntary muscle contractions and virtually “works out” the muscles similar to being in the gym.
- Evolve Trim is not a weight loss procedure but can eliminate pockets of unwanted fat and smooth out cellulite through its negative tissue vacuum that reaches down into the layers of subcutaneous fat.
3. Non-Invasive Thigh Lift with PHYSIQ
Both heat and electrical stimulation are combined in PHYSIQ treatment that can redefine the upper thighs. Both muscle and fat are targeted at the same time and can offer results including tighter, more contoured, smoother thighs.
4. Thigh Lift Without Scars with Morpheus8
Morpheus8 simultaneously delivers targeted radiofrequency and microneedling to re-contour the upper thigh area. The radiofrequency reduces and eliminates unwanted fat cells while creating more definition for the areas treated.
Microneedling creates tiny injuries in the treatment area that the body will naturally “heal” through the production of new collagen and elastin. Morpheus 8 is also excellent for reducing or eliminating any visible scarring you may have.
Thigh Lift with No Surgery Means No Scars!
If you desire more youthful, sculpted, smooth-looking thighs but do not want to undergo surgery, then a scarless thigh lift may be just what you are looking for.
A thigh lift without surgery will not work for everyone as it cannot fully correct all types of loose, saggy skin but it can be an incredibly effective alternative to some patients offering them significant improvements without any scarring.
