Liposuction Results

The results of a liposuction are considered permanent, but fat may develop in the treated area if you change your lifestyle or become less active. Since liposuction is a minimally invasive procedure, almost no traces of surgery remain in the areas of treatment, even if the areas are large. If you follow the recommendations of the surgeon, liposuction gives a stable and long-lasting results.

Can Liposuction Be Combined With Other Procedures?

Liposuction can be performed as a standalone procedure or in combination with other aesthetic procedures (for example, together with breast reduction or abdominoplasty). A liposuction can also be done in several problem areas at once. The duration of the surgery is limited to 4 hours, and the maximum amount of fat to be removed is 5 liters. Based on that, we evaluate how many areas we can treat during one procedure.

When Will Results Be Visible?

Some of the results will be visible immediately, and it will take a few weeks for the final results to be seen as swelling needs to go away. Therefore, do not make big plans in a week after the procedure, you will likely still be swollen.

Is Liposuction Better Before or After Pregnancy?

It is a personal choice and depends on what you are planning to gain. Liposuction is a shaping procedure and normally the treated areas remain the same long-term when maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Therefore, there is no limitation to patients willing to undergo a liposuction before pregnancy.
